it's been a while since we updated on here. whoops!
we haven't really been doing much. the holidays were fun and we got to see both sets of our parents which was nice.
we made our first thanksgiving turkey while the naglicks were in town. and by we, we mean steve and mrs. naglick made the turkey and lo and mr. naglick drank mimosas on the couch. it was lovely.
it was super fun having steve's parents here. the weather was pretty nice and we ate a ton of yummy food. we took another trip to the alamo which mrs. saunders seemed to really enjoy because she was the only one who had yet to see it. she was pretty impressed even though its about a quarter of the size of mason hall.
we also went to this restaurant/bar/laundromat/car wash (it's a weird texas thing) called the cove. the food is delicious and organic and they have boylan soda for their fountain drinks. steve got a lamb burger which got rave reviews. it was featured on the food network, which is pretty cool.
and lastly, steve and josh bought carlyn and i dogs! they're brothers :) they are a mix between an american bull dog and a boston terrier-a boston bull! ours is named gatsby and he is super cute and really snuggly. he doesn't really do much yet, except sleep and look cute which is fine by us. carlyn and josh call theirs brittin and he is super cute too. he reminds me of a pinto bean and looks hilarious when he climbs the stairs. they're not so great at talking walks together yet, but carlyn and i have big plans for taking them on our starbucks dates so hopefully they learn quick!
brittin is sort of blending in with carlyn's jacket in this one but believe me, he is so cute you could eat him up.
we obviously expect an influx of visitors now that we have this cute puppy so make sure to call us before you book your flights. haha, just kidding.
